Houston Funeral Director Accused of Forging Documents to Steal $2.2 Million Estate
A Houston funeral director has been accused of forging documents to steal an estate worth $2.2 million.
The man, identified as Michael Green, who now goes by 'Unique,' allegedly forged papers to transfer the deceased person's assets and property to himself.
Green claimed that he was the long-term partner and common-law spouse of the deceased in a will filed months after his death.
A search warrant at his funeral home business revealed a shocking discovery: a Home Depot bucket filled with organs, and 48 boxes of cremated human remains for families who had been waiting since 2023 to receive their loved ones' ashes.
