HP Regains Market Leadership Amid Strong Q3 Earnings
HP Inc., the US-based technology company, showcased its growth prospects at the Goldman Sachs Communacopia + Technology Conference 2026. Despite facing higher input costs and a temporary leadership transition, HP reported a strong third quarter, driven by record revenue in Personal Systems.
The segment's revenue rose 18% to a new high, with AI PCs and premium products contributing significantly to the growth. The average selling price (ASP) in Personal Systems increased 40%, mainly due to customers opting for more expensive products.
HP regained market leadership in the Americas and North America, which is a strategic priority for the company. Commercial customers account for about 70% of Personal Systems revenue. The stock's shares have surged 73% over the past six months, trading near its 52-week high of $32.78.
CFO Karen Parkhill emphasized the importance of mix in driving ASPs and revenue growth. She noted that premium products are helping to offset the decline of lower-value products.
