Huang: Cybersecurity to Be Next Big AI App

Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang predicts that cybersecurity will be the next major application of artificial intelligence (AI), following coding. Speaking at a Goldman Sachs conference, he noted that companies will increasingly use AI to find software vulnerabilities and defend against cyberattacks.

Huang stated that cybersecurity is a natural extension of coding, with bug finding being a derivative of coding and cybersecurity being a very large market.

Nvidia has been pushing deeper into cybersecurity, announcing partnerships with CrowdStrike, Cisco, and Palantir to build AI-powered cybersecurity tools. Other AI giants, such as OpenAI, are also betting on cybersecurity as a major commercial opportunity.
