Hugging Face Acquisition Raises Questions About AI Platform Neutrality

Clement Delangue, co-founder and CEO of Hugging Face, said the company needed Nvidia's compute resources to grow at scale. However, Nvidia's ownership also raises concerns about the platform's independence and potential bias towards Nvidia's products.
Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang has assured that Hugging Face will remain an open platform for the entire AI ecosystem and that customers can continue to choose which hardware to use. However, experts point out that this may be a corporate promise rather than a structural reality.
