Hyderabad Facility Hits Major Milestone with 400th Apache Fuselage
Tata Boeing Aerospace Limited (TBAL) has rolled out its 400th fuselage for the AH-64E Apache attack helicopter at its Hyderabad facility.
The milestone came at TBAL's 52,000-square-metre facility in Hyderabad where the company makes the fuselages in India and sends them for integration into complete Apache helicopters. These helicopters serve customers around the world, including the US Army, with India also having received six Apaches for the Indian Army in 2025.
India's growing role in global aerospace manufacturing is highlighted by this milestone, which underscores the importance of the Hyderabad facility as an important production centre for the Apache programme. The plant uses robotics, automation and advanced aerospace technology to manufacture fuselage structures for the Apache programme.
