Hyperscalers Dominate Gartner's CNAP Map Ranking
The latest Gartner CNAP map has crowned Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft, and Google as the top cloud-native application platforms.
These three hyperscalers dominate the ranking due to their breadth and depth of managed application runtime environments.
Google took the highest 'ability to execute' position within the Magic Quadrant's 'leaders' box based on its Cloud Run, Firebase, and Gemini Enterprise Agent Platform offerings.
Gartner praised Google for its geographically diversified offerings, market responsiveness, and business model, as well as its work in strengthening developer tools and optimizing compute performance within its ecosystem.
However, the report also noted that Google may confuse customers with its marketing differentiation between various offerings, and lacks a presence in China.
