Hyundai, Nvidia Join Global Mobility Conference in Seoul
The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport is co-hosting an international conference on global mobility with the Korea Transportation Safety Authority and the OECD International Transport Forum at the Westin Josun Seoul hotel.
Top companies from Hyundai Motor to Nvidia are joining the event, along with research institutions and international organizations. The goal is to discuss policy and industry directions needed to address challenges arising from the commercialization of advanced mobility technologies like autonomous driving and AI.
The conference, themed 'From New to Now: Steering Mobility Innovations Toward Realities,' will feature keynote addresses from executives at Kakao Mobility, Waymo, and Nvidia. They will outline the present and future of mobility innovation, covering topics such as the expansion of autonomous mobility and AI-defined safe mobility.
Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport Kim Yun-deok emphasized the importance of making a greater leap in mobility innovation so that all citizens can truly feel its impact.
