IBM and CHRIST University Launch AI Innovation Center in Bengaluru
CHRIST University and IBM have partnered to launch the IBM Innovation Center for Artificial Intelligence in Bengaluru, India. The center aims to accelerate AI research, education, innovation, and talent development by providing students, faculty, researchers, and PhD scholars access to enterprise-grade AI technologies.
The new center will focus on various areas of AI, including generative AI, agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), Reinforcement Agents Grids (RAG), intelligent automation, and responsible AI. Participants will work with IBM's technologies, such as WatsonX.ai, WatsonX Orchestrate, and IBM Bob, an AI development partner designed to support the software development lifecycle.
As part of the initiative, IBM Expert Labs will conduct hands-on training for faculty, PhD scholars, and postgraduate students. Participants will also have access to IBM SkillsBuild for technology learning and certification. The partnership aims to strengthen India's AI talent pipeline and deepen industry-academia collaboration.
