The CHRIST University in India has partnered with IBM to launch an Innovation Center for Artificial Intelligence. The center will provide students, faculty members, and researchers with access to enterprise-grade AI technologies and real-world use cases.

The initiative will support learning and experimentation in areas such as generative AI, agentic AI, large language models (LLMs), retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), intelligent automation, and responsible AI. Participants will have access to IBM's technologies, including Watsonx.ai, an AI development studio; Watsonx Orchestrate, an agentic control plane for scaling and governing AI; and IBM Bob, an AI development partner.

The center will also provide hands-on training and enablement programs for faculty members, PhD scholars, and postgraduate students. This is part of a broader effort to strengthen India's AI talent pipeline and accelerate research and innovation in the field.
