IBM and OpenAI Team Up for Secure Enterprise AI Deployments

IBM has formed a strategic partnership with OpenAI to help large organizations deploy AI across core business operations, legacy applications, and cybersecurity environments.

The agreement combines OpenAI's models and products with IBM Consulting's enterprise delivery platform, industry expertise, and security capabilities.

OpenAI's frontier models, including GPT-5.6, Codex, and ChatGPT Work, will be embedded in IBM Consulting Advantage, its AI platform for delivering consulting services.

The companies plan to use the combined technologies to redesign workflows across finance, procurement, customer operations, and HR.
