IBM and OpenAI Unite to Secure AI Adoption in Large Companies

IBM and OpenAI are joining forces to help large companies apply artificial intelligence securely at scale. This strategic partnership aims to streamline crucial business operations, complex workflows, and strengthen cyber defense and resilience through programs like OpenAI Daybreak.

The collaboration will cover joint market actions and the creation of solutions dedicated to various sectors, including finance, government, telecommunications, and retail, as well as areas such as finance, purchasing, customer operations, and human resources. IBM will integrate advanced OpenAI models, such as GPT-5.6, and products like Codex and ChatGPT Work directly into the IBM Consulting Advantage platform.

The partnership also includes the creation of a dedicated OpenAI Practice with thousands of consultants and engineers who will obtain expert-level certifications through the AI company's Partner Network. This initiative aims to help organizations overcome one of the main obstacles to AI expansion: transforming decades of fragmented processes, outdated systems, and operational complexity into modern, secure operations powered by AI.
