IBM Brings AI-Powered Consulting Hub to Visakhapatnam

IBM expanded its presence in Andhra Pradesh by launching its new Consulting FutureNow Centre at Lansom Square, Visakhapatnam. The facility was jointly inaugurated by IT and HRD Minister Nara Lokesh and IBM India and South Asia Managing Director Sandip Patel.

The centre is designed to power global Artificial Intelligence (AI) and digital transformation initiatives. It will deliver high-end consulting and technology services to international clients, covering areas such as AI, hybrid cloud, software engineering, data and analytics, cybersecurity, enterprise transformation, and user experience services.

Nara Lokesh stated that the establishment of the centre marks a significant step in positioning Visakhapatnam as a premier global destination for AI and technology-driven innovation. He emphasized that the government's goal extends beyond attracting tech investments to building a robust ecosystem generating quality employment and integrating local youth into the global digital economy.
