IBM Brings AI-Powered Transformation to Visakhapatnam with New FutureNow Centre

IBM has opened its new IBM Consulting FutureNow Centre in Visakhapatnam, marking a significant expansion of its presence in India. The centre will focus on projects involving AI, hybrid cloud, software engineering, data and analytics, cybersecurity, and enterprise transformation.

The centre was officially inaugurated by HRD and IT Minister Nara Lokesh, who stated that it would strengthen Visakhapatnam's position as an emerging technology destination and create opportunities for skilled professionals in the state.

IBM India and South Asia Managing Director Sandip Patel emphasized the importance of combining India's talent and technology capabilities to expand its role in the digital economy. He noted that the Visakhapatnam centre would support clients in adopting AI and other emerging technologies while strengthening India's position in global technology delivery.
