IBM Consulting FutureNow Centre Inaugurated in Visakhapatnam Amid AI and Digital Services Push
Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh inaugurated the IBM Consulting FutureNow Centre in Visakhapatnam, marking a significant milestone for the city's emergence as a global hub for artificial intelligence and digital services. The centre will serve as a key hub for delivering consulting and technology services to global clients, leveraging capabilities such as AI, hybrid cloud, software engineering, data and analytics, cybersecurity, and enterprise transformation.
Lokesh emphasized that IBM's FutureNow Centre is a testament to Visakhapatnam's growing importance in the tech industry, and highlighted the state government's vision for building a comprehensive ecosystem that fosters high-quality employment, develops future-ready talent, and enables young people from Andhra Pradesh to participate in the global digital economy.
IBM India and South Asia Managing Director Sandip Patel noted that India has a unique opportunity to lead in the digital era by combining its talent, innovation, and technological capabilities. The IBM Consulting FutureNow Centre is one of 15 such centres across India, serving as a key hub for AI-first cloud transformation and services.
