IBM Establishes FutureNow Centre in Visakhapatnam for Global Client Support
IBM has inaugurated its new FutureNow Centre in Visakhapatnam, India. This centre will support global clients with consulting and technology services, including AI, hybrid cloud, software engineering, data analytics, cybersecurity, and enterprise transformation.
The centre will also serve as a hub for AI-first cloud transformation, platform engineering, service integration, quality engineering, and user experience services. According to IBM, Visakhapatnam is well-positioned to support global client engagements due to its growing pool of digital talent, strong academic institutions, and evolving technology ecosystem.
Nara Lokesh, Andhra Pradesh Minister for IT, Electronics, and HRD, said that the FutureNow Centre is a strong endorsement of Visakhapatnam's emergence as a global hub for AI, digital services, and technology-led innovation. IBM aims to deepen its presence in Andhra Pradesh and contribute to the development of a future-ready technology workforce.
