IBM Launches AI-Powered Consulting Centre in Visakhapatnam
IBM has opened its new Consulting FutureNow Centre in Visakhapatnam, India, to support the delivery of consulting and technology services for global clients. The centre will have capabilities spanning artificial intelligence (AI), hybrid cloud, software engineering, data and analytics, cybersecurity, and enterprise transformation.
The centre will also serve as a hub for AI-first cloud transformation and services, platform engineering, service integration, quality engineering, and user experience services. IBM aims to deepen its presence in Andhra Pradesh and contribute to the development of a future-ready technology workforce.
Shri Nara Lokesh, Minister of IT, Electronics and HRD, Government of Andhra Pradesh, inaugurated the centre in the presence of Sandip Patel, Managing Director, IBM India & South Asia. Lokesh said that IBM's FutureNow Centre is a strong endorsement of Visakhapatnam's emergence as a global hub for AI, digital services, and technology-led innovation.
Sandip Patel stated that India has a unique opportunity to lead in the digital era by combining its talent, innovation, and technology capabilities. He added that IBM is committed to helping build the capabilities that enable clients to accelerate AI adoption and other emerging technologies.
