IBM Returns to Visakhapatnam with AI-Focused Centre
IBM has returned to Visakhapatnam, India, with the launch of its new IBM Consulting FutureNow Centre for AI. The centre will support global clients with consulting and technology services across AI, hybrid cloud, software engineering, data and analytics, cybersecurity, and enterprise transformation.
The facility will operate with over 500 professionals, bolstering Visakhapatnam's growing IT and technology ecosystem. IBM Consulting now has FutureNow Centres in 15 locations across India, including Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Coimbatore, Gurgaon, Hyderabad, Kochi, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Mysore, Noida, Pune, and Visakhapatnam.
Andhra Pradesh's IT Minister, Nara Lokesh, inaugurated the centre in the presence of Sandip Patel, Managing Director of IBM India & South Asia. Lokesh expressed his welcome for IBM's continued commitment to Andhra Pradesh and its vision to build a complete ecosystem that creates high-quality employment and develops future-ready talent.
Usha Srikanth, Managing Partner at the IBM Consulting FutureNow Centre in Visakhapatnam, emphasized the region's potential with emerging digital talent, strong academic institutions, and a growing technology ecosystem.
