IBM Set to Invest in Indian Quantum Computing and Cloud Infrastructure
IBM has announced plans to invest in quantum computing and cloud infrastructure across India. The move comes after Union Minister of Electronics and Information Technology Ashwini Vaishnaw met with senior IBM officials.
The Minister highlighted that this investment will create new opportunities for the country's growing technology talent pool, particularly in advanced semiconductor nodes.
Quantum computing uses quantum bits, or 'qubits', which can exist as both 0 and 1 at the same time. This enables quantum computers to solve complex problems much faster than traditional systems.
