The company's shares traded a total of 5,485,696, which is a decline of 31% from the average session volume of 7,921,721 shares.
IBM's recent collaborations with Arm Holdings and its partnership to bring OpenAI models and products to IBM Consulting Advantage have lifted investor interest in the company.
The firm's acquisition of HRL Laboratories has also accelerated its quantum roadmap and broadened its advanced-technology research base.
