IBM Teams Up with OpenAI for Secure AI Deployment Across Enterprise Operations

IBM has partnered with OpenAI to help enterprises deploy AI securely and at scale across their core operations. The partnership combines IBM's Consulting Advantage platform with OpenAI's frontier models, including GPT-5.6, Codex, and ChatGPT Work.

IBM will embed these models into its AI delivery platform to help organizations integrate AI into daily processes and redesign workflows across finance, procurement, customer operations, and HR.

The partnership also focuses on application modernization and product development, helping clients modernize legacy applications and accelerate software development with OpenAI's Codex and ChatGPT Work.

Additionally, IBM and OpenAI will expand their collaboration on cybersecurity, combining OpenAI frontier AI capabilities with IBM Autonomous Security to manage both cyber and AI model risk.
