IBM Vet and Animal Advocate Pamela A. MacGregor Passes Away After Long Cancer Battle

Pamela A. MacGregor, a devoted mother and grandmother, passed away on August 8, 2026, at her daughter's home in Pillar Point, New York. She was 68 years old and had been battling metastatic lung cancer since December 2024.

MacGregor spent over 40 years working for IBM, starting as a secretary before transitioning to an IT professional. She retired from the company after a long and rewarding career.

A passionate animal lover, MacGregor volunteered at the Dutchess County SPCA and Guiding Eyes, where she helped care for dogs being trained as guide dogs for the blind.
