IG Wealth Partners with Goldman Sachs to Bring Institutional Investments to Retail Investors

IG Wealth Management has partnered with Goldman Sachs Asset Management to bring institutional investment capabilities to Canadian retail investors. The partnership combines IG's financial planning and advisor network with Goldman Sachs' portfolio management expertise across equities, fixed income, and alternative investments.

The collaboration focuses on five IG Strategic Wealth Portfolios that were previously part of the IG Core Portfolios suite. These portfolios are designed to provide Canadian investors with access to investment approaches historically used by sophisticated institutional investors.

Goldman Sachs Asset Management will use a holistic portfolio management approach, emphasizing diversification, active asset allocation, and risk management across different market environments. The firm will also introduce complementary Goldman Sachs investment strategies alongside existing portfolio holdings using its open-architecture platform.

The collaboration aims to help investors remain invested through different market cycles while pursuing long-term growth in an increasingly complex investment environment.
