iHeartMedia Brings Podcasts to Life in Video Shows
iHeartMedia has partnered with Disney+ and Hulu to bring six popular podcasts to life as video shows. The first show, Hey Jonas!, will premiere on both platforms on August 14th. This special episode is a 'Camp Rock' episode that leads into the premiere of 'Camp Rock 3'. The brothers will also appear live from D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event.
The partnership aims to bring fans closer to their favorite worlds and creators through video content. Lauren Tempest, Head of Content Planning & Partnerships, DTC at The Walt Disney Company, said, 'Fans can't get enough of the stories and talent they love...'
Other shows set to arrive on Disney+ include Pod Meets World, while Hulu will feature Desperately Devoted, Fake Doctors, Real Friends with Zach and Donald, StraightioLab, and Thanks Dad with Ego Nwodim. These shows are expected to start streaming in the coming months.
