IKON Takes Top Honors at Hamilton Island Race Week

The 41st edition of Hamilton Island Race Week, presented by American Express, has come to a close. The regatta saw over 1,200 sailors participate across various divisions, including grand prix yachts, cruising divisions, multihulls, non-spinnaker boats, and trailable yachts.

IKON, skippered by Bruce McCracken's family team, was awarded the Leon O'Donoghue Memorial Trophy as Boat of the Week in Rating Division 2. The team achieved a perfect scorecard, winning all six races sailed under IRC.

McCracken praised his crew for their hard work and dedication, saying 'We've had this team together for 18 years, so it's not an overnight sensation.' He added that the regatta has been 'fantastic' and a great experience for everyone involved.
