India Demolishes Unauthorized Structures Outside Pakistan High Commission
Indian authorities demolished unauthorized structures outside the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi on Thursday. The action was taken after it was found that the structures exceeded the mission's approved boundary, according to official sources.
The demolition was carried out using a JCB machine, which removed barricades and queue-management installations near the visa section. Visuals from the site showed sections of outer structures completely pulled down, including corrugated roofing and metal fencing.
The main entrance of the Pakistan High Commission remained intact, with its white walls, domed features, and large metal gates bearing the Pakistani emblem still in place. However, barbed-wire fencing was visible along portions of the compound's perimeter.
