Indian Institutions Celebrate 80 Years of Independence with Patriotic Fervour
On August 15th, India celebrated its 80th Independence Day across various Central Government institutions in Nagpur. The day was marked by flag-hoisting ceremonies, patriotic programs, and community participation.
The celebrations took place at nine institutes, including the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) Academy, Indian Bureau of Mines (IBM), and more. Each institute showcased its unique contributions to nation-building through various events and activities.
At AIIMS Nagpur, Dr. Prashant P. Joshi highlighted the institute's recent achievements, including rankings among India's leading medical colleges and NABH Full Accreditation. The 'Run for Unity' marathon was also organized jointly by the Residents' Doctors Association and Students' Council.
The National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU) celebrated with patriotic poems and speeches presented by students and staff. The event was coordinated by Dr. Niraj Kumar Singh, Academic Coordinator.
