Individual Saves $500 Annually by Replacing Microsoft 365 and Other Software Subscriptions
As subscription renewal costs continue to rise, individuals are searching for affordable alternatives to their software needs. One such example is Abhijith N Arjunan, who recently replaced his $500 annual subscription fees with free alternatives.
In an effort to save money on Microsoft 365, Notion, Evernote, Todoist, and Grammarly Pro, Arjunan turned to OnlyOffice for word processing needs. OnlyOffice is a completely free office suite that closely resembles the features of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
Arjunan found OnlyOffice to be the most compatible option among other alternatives he tried. He noted that its core editors are open-source, but additional pricing plans are available for business needs. Arjunan also mentioned that while he missed OneDrive storage and a few other benefits from his Microsoft 365 plan, saving $100 annually made up for it.
