Coca-Cola Consolidated (COKE) has gained significant attention from institutional investors. According to its most recent Form 13F filing, William Blair Investment Management LLC acquired a new stake in COKE during the second quarter, purchasing 5,952 shares valued at approximately $484,000.

This is not an isolated incident, as several other hedge funds and institutions have also increased their stakes in COKE. BlackRock Inc., for instance, purchased a new stake worth about $26.2 billion, while Mitsubishi UFJ Asset Management Co. Ltd. acquired a position valued at around $1.59 billion.

This surge in institutional investment may be attributed to the company's strong financial performance and its role as the largest independent bottler of Coca-Cola products in the United States.
