Intel Surges to 21% Amazon CPU Share with Price Cuts

Intel has made significant strides in recovering its market share on Amazon, climbing to 21.3% CPU market share in August 2026 after a year of stagnation.

The main catalyst behind this recovery was a price-cut strategy for the Arrow Lake Refresh line, which saw the Core Ultra 7 270K Plus and Core Ultra 5 250K Plus models become top sellers on the platform.

As a result of these aggressive discounts, AMD's share on Amazon fell from its usual overwhelming 90% to 78.7%, giving Intel valuable ground back in the market.

However, it appears that this achievement by Intel may only be temporary, as the company has already begun to remove its more 'aggressive' discounts and return prices to their previous levels.
