Iran Uncertainty Weighs on US Stocks as Earnings Reports Continue
US stock markets continued their mixed trading on Thursday as uncertainty over Iran's actions weighed heavily on prices.
The S&P 500 rose 0.2%, hovering around its record set just two days prior, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 21 points, or less than 0.1%, and the Nasdaq composite rose 0.2%.
Several companies reported their latest financial results, with Keurig Dr Pepper rising 1% after beating investor expectations, and Molson Coors also up 1% for similar reasons.
On the other hand, Honeywell Aerospace plummeted 21% after falling short of forecasts, and AppLovin dropped 19.6% following mixed results.
In other news, SpaceX shares rose 0.6%, as a lockup period expired on over 911 million shares held by early investors and employees, allowing them to sell the stock for the first time.
