IronPigs Split Doubleheader with RailRiders
The Lehigh Valley IronPigs and Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders split their doubleheader on September 1, 2026. In the first game, a resumption of a previously suspended contest from August 16th at Coca-Cola Park, the 'Pigs rallied in the eighth inning to take the lead after being down 2-0.
Steward Berroa and Kameron Misner tied the game with RBI singles before Otto Kemp's go-ahead single allowed another run to score. Tanner Banks earned the win for the IronPigs, giving him two perfect innings of relief.
In the second game, however, the RailRiders dominated with a three-spot in the first and eight more runs in the fifth, punctuated by a Kenedy Corona grand slam that made it 16-0. Zach Messinger earned the win for SWB while Ryan Cusick took the loss.
