Issaquah Office Buildings May Be Transformed into 300 Apartment Units

A pair of vacant office buildings in Issaquah, which were once occupied by Microsoft and are near Costco's headquarters, may be transformed into nearly 300 apartment units. According to a city notice cited by Connect CRE, Vintage Housing is seeking to repurpose the two buildings, totaling 410,848 square feet of housing. The proposal calls for the conversion of the office space, which had been occupied by Microsoft until its lease expired in 2023.

The third building on the property was fully leased by Costco since 2014 and was acquired by its landlord, an affiliate of Kennedy Wilson, for $61.8 million in 2024. The majority owner of Vintage Housing is also affiliated with Kennedy Wilson.
