Janus Henderson Cuts Stake in IBM, Other Investors Increase Holdings
Janus Henderson Group PLC has significantly reduced its stake in International Business Machines Corporation (IBM), one of the world's leading technology companies. In a recent SEC filing, Janus Henderson revealed it trimmed its position by 3.1% during the first quarter, selling 9,634 shares worth $73.35 million.
The firm now owns 302,610 shares of IBM stock, valued at $73,354,000 as of the latest SEC filing. Other large investors have also adjusted their stakes in the company, with Norges Bank purchasing a new position worth around $2.446 billion and Capital World Investors increasing its holdings by 29.2%.
IBM's principal businesses include cloud computing and software, infrastructure and systems, consulting and technology services, and research and development. The company has announced a quarterly dividend of $1.69 per share, payable on September 10th to investors who own shares as of August 10th.
