Jet2 Flight Declares Emergency Over Vibrations Mid-Air
A Jet2 flight from Liverpool to Palma de Mallorca was forced to divert and land in Manchester after declaring an emergency due to vibrations felt by passengers.
The Boeing 737-800 plane took off at 8am, but shortly after departure, the captain announced there was an issue. The jet then changed direction and flew back towards Liverpool before landing safely at Manchester Airport around 12:875 ft.
A passenger on board described feeling a sudden vibration and more noise, but said nothing alarmed passengers. The stewards were professional, and the captain reassured everyone that the plane would land safely in Manchester.
