JLB & Associates Pours $7.8M into American Express

JLB & Associates Inc., an institutional investor, has made a new investment in American Express Company (NYSE:AXP). According to its latest 13F filing with the SEC, JLB bought 23,081 shares of AXP's stock during the second quarter, valued at approximately $7.8 million.

This is not the only institutional investor that has made a new investment in American Express. BlackRock Inc., Norges Bank, and Bank of New York Mellon Corp have also acquired new stakes in AXP during the same period.

Despite this influx of capital, American Express' stock price remains relatively stable. The company's shares opened at $338.10 on Wednesday, with a market cap of $228.32 billion.
