Joaquin Duato Sells $13M Worth of Johnson & Johnson Stock
The CEO and Chairman of Johnson & Johnson, Joaquin Duato, recently sold $13 million worth of stock at $258 per share. This sale decreased his holding size by 14%.
This is not the first time Duato has sold shares this year; earlier in the year he sold $22 million worth at $221 per share. Interestingly, these sales occurred at a price lower than the current price of $259.
The insider transactions over the past year show that Johnson & Johnson insiders have been selling more shares than they've been buying. While high levels of insider ownership are generally seen as a positive sign, the recent insider selling is a cause for caution.
