Timothy Schmid, Executive Vice President and Worldwide Chairman of MedTech at Johnson & Johnson (NYSE:JNJ), sold $9.23 million worth of company stock on September 2, 2026.
The sale involved the disposal of 33,597 shares of common stock at a price of $274.74 per share. This transaction came as JNJ stock nears its 52-week high of $281.07, with shares increasing by 59% over the past year.
Schmid had acquired an equal number of shares through the exercise of employee stock options prior to these sales. The options were awarded under Johnson & Johnson's Long-Term Incentive Plan and became exercisable on the third anniversary of their grant date.
Following this transaction, Schmid directly holds 25,447 shares of Johnson & Johnson common stock, as well as indirect beneficial ownership of 804 shares through the Johnson & Johnson Stock Fund under the Johnson & Johnson Savings Plan. The plan includes shares accrued due to dividend reinvestment as of August 31, 2026.
