Johor Bahru's Boeing 747 Hotel Takes Shape
A new lifestyle destination is taking shape in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. The 1975 Avenue & Hotel project features two Boeing 747 aircraft, named Bove and Bey, transformed into 18 premium hotel suites.
The suites are designed around different countries, with themes inspired by destinations including Japan, Korea, Mexico, Thailand, Egypt, Monaco, China, France, Italy, and Switzerland. Each suite boasts aviation-inspired interiors alongside modern hotel amenities such as smart sensor technology, complimentary Wi-Fi, 55-inch Smart TVs, rain showers, plush linen, and branded toiletries.
The project also includes a boutique hotel with 20 rooms in the main block, a cantilever swimming pool, lagoon pool, sunken jacuzzi, gym, spa, sauna, observation lounge, VIP dining spaces, and a family-friendly playground. The development will have a mix of cafes, bars, restaurants, casual dining concepts, buffet restaurants, family-style eateries, poolside cafes, and themed entertainment venues.
A man-made beach surrounded by greenery is also part of the project, along with double-volume dining spaces reaching up to seven meters in height. The development will offer leasing opportunities to local and international F&B operators, cafes, and lifestyle brands.
