Jordan Brand Debuts Asymmetrical Air Jordan 3 'Sports Renaissance'
The Air Jordan 3 is getting a fresh new look from Jordan Brand. The 'Sports Renaissance' colorway takes inspiration from vintage collegiate sportswear, blending classic retro leather construction with asymmetrical color blocking and soft-goods textile swaps.
The shoe features a dark Obsidian tumbled leather upper as its base, grounded by traditional navy elephant print overlays on the toe cap and heel counter. However, the color layout diverges dramatically from there: the left shoe incorporates pink and red pops across various zones, while the right shoe shifts those same zones into shades of light and royal blue.
Beyond the split color palette, the 'Sports Renaissance' update replaces standard smooth leather along the collar and eyelets with breathable mesh paneling. To further drive home the athletic gear motif, the tongues are constructed from a ribbed fabric.
The Air Jordan 3 'Sports Renaissance' is set to drop on August 15, 2026, via Nike SNKRS and select Jumpman retailers for $205 USD.
