JPMorgan Chase Files for New Structured Investment Product with Elevated Risk
JPMorgan Chase Financial Company LLC has filed a registration statement with the SEC for its North America Structured Investments, specifically the 5yr INDU/SPX Uncapped Accelerated Barrier Notes. The notes will track the performance of two indices: the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500.
The minimum denomination is $1,000, and the issuer guarantees that payments will be made by JPMorgan Chase & Co. The notes have an Upside Leverage Factor of at least 1.31, which means that if both indices perform well, investors could see returns up to 131%.
However, the notes also come with risks, including the possibility of losing more than 25% of the principal amount if either index falls below its barrier amount. Investors should be aware that the value of the notes will depend on their creditworthiness and market conditions.
