JPMorgan Chase Introduces New Stock Index-Linked Notes with Upside Leverage Factor
JPMorgan Chase & Co. has introduced a new financial product called North America Structured Investments 4yr INDU/SPX Uncapped Accelerated Barrier Notes. These notes are designed to track the performance of two major stock market indices: the Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500.
The notes have a minimum denomination of $1,000, and their payoff is determined by the lesser performing underlying index. If the final value of either index is greater than its initial value, investors will receive a payment based on the upside leverage factor, which is at least 1.45 times the return of the lesser performing index.
However, if the final value of either index falls below 75% of its initial value, investors will lose more than 25% of their principal amount at maturity and could even lose all of it. The notes also carry credit risk, as they are issued by JPMorgan Chase Financial Company LLC and guaranteed by JPMorgan Chase & Co.
