JPMorgan Chase Issues New Investment Product with Significant Risks
JPMorgan Chase Financial Company LLC has issued a new financial product called North America Structured Investments 3yr NDX/RTY/SPX Auto Callable Accelerated Barrier Notes. This investment offers upside leverage, but it also comes with significant risks.
The notes will be automatically called if the closing value of each underlying index (Nasdaq-100 Index, Russell 2000 Index, and S&P 500 Index) on any review date is greater than or equal to its call value. The payment upon automatic call may be significantly less than the payment at maturity for the same level of appreciation in the least performing underlying.
However, if the notes have not been automatically called and the final value of each underlying index is greater than its initial value, the payment at maturity will be calculated based on the least performing underlying return and upside leverage factor. The estimated value of the notes will not be less than $900 per $1,000 principal amount note.
The investors should be aware that any payment on the notes is subject to the credit risks of JPMorgan Chase Financial Company LLC and JPMorgan Chase & Co. The automatic call feature may force a potential early exit, and the benefit provided by the barrier amount may terminate on the final review date.
