JPMorgan Chase Issues Notes Linked to Dow Jones, Russell 2000, and Nasdaq-100 Indices
JPMorgan Chase & Co. has issued a new type of note that offers investors a chance to earn returns tied to the performance of three major stock market indices: the Dow Jones Industrial Average, the Russell 2000 Index, and the Nasdaq-100 Index.
The notes will have a maturity date of August 24, 2029, and their value will be determined by the closing levels of each index on specific review dates. If the closing level of any index is greater than or equal to its interest barrier (70% of its initial value), investors will receive a contingent interest payment of $7.5417 per $1,000 principal amount note.
The notes also come with a risk: if the final value of any index is less than its trigger value (30% below its initial value), investors can lose more than 30% of their principal amount at maturity.
