JPMorgan Chase Issues Notes Tied to iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF Performance
JPMorgan Chase Financial Company LLC is issuing a new type of note tied to the performance of the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF.
The notes, which will be available in denominations of $1,000, have a pricing date of September 30, 2026 and an observation date of October 1, 2029.
If the final value of the ETF is greater than its initial value on the observation date, investors will receive a payment at maturity that includes a return of their principal plus up to 158% of that amount, subject to a maximum return factor of 1.5 times the fund's return.
However, if the final value falls below a barrier amount set at 70% of the initial value, investors will lose more than 30% of their principal and could potentially lose all of it.
