JPMorgan Chase Poised to Enter $1 Trillion Club with AI-Resistant Growth
The $1 trillion market cap club has become more achievable due to artificial intelligence. Most members of this exclusive group have strong exposure to AI, but as the trade becomes riskier, investors are seeking large stocks with less reliance on AI.
JPMorgan Chase, a bank with a balance sheet that's grown from $1.56 trillion in 2007 to over $5 trillion in 2026, is one such stock. Despite its size, it trades below 15 times forward earnings and is not a pure-play AI stock.
The company has a diverse revenue stream and significant scale, which have contributed to its peer-leading returns. JPMorgan's CEO, Jamie Dimon, successfully navigated the bank through the Great Recession and has since grown it into the largest bank in the country by assets.
