JPMorgan Chase Unveils Uncapped Buffered Notes Linked to iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF
JPMorgan Chase & Co. has launched its latest financial product: Uncapped Buffered Equity Notes Linked to the iShares MSCI Emerging Markets ETF. These notes are designed for investors seeking an uncapped return of up to 75% on any appreciation of the fund, but come with a significant risk of losing up to 70% of their principal amount at maturity.
The notes are fully and unconditionally guaranteed by JPMorgan Chase & Co., and have a minimum denomination of $1,000. They are priced at $669,000, with an estimated value of $981.60 per note when the terms were set. The Strike Value has been determined based on the closing price of one share of the fund on September 1, 2026, which was $66.77.
The notes will mature on September 7, 2029, and investors can expect to receive a payment at maturity calculated as follows: if the Final Value is greater than the Strike Value, they will receive $1,000 plus ($1,000 × Fund Return × Participation Rate); if the Final Value is equal to or less than the Strike Value by up to the Buffer Amount (30%), they will receive the principal amount of their notes at maturity; and if the Final Value is less than the Strike Value by more than the Buffer Amount, they will lose some or most of their principal amount.
