JPMorgan Ditches Banking Ties with Polymarket Amid Regulatory Pressure
JPMorgan Chase ended its direct banking relationship with Polymarket in October 2025 due to regulatory concerns surrounding prediction markets.
The Wall Street Journal reported that JPMorgan invited clients of its wealth management division to participate in Polymarket's Series E round, which valued the company at $14.5 billion in April.
Although JPMorgan stepped back from direct banking engagement with Polymarket, it maintained commercial ties with the platform through various entities and may be interested in a potential role in Polymarket's future IPO.
