Nike's 'Win Now' initiative, launched in late 2024 under new CEO Elliott Hill to refocus the company's culture on sports and growth, create emotional connections with customers, and accelerate innovation, will create lingering financial headwinds that will persist into FY28 according to J.P. Morgan.

The investment bank downgraded Nike (NKE) due to these anticipated challenges, citing China share losses and rising rivals as additional concerns.

J.P. Morgan's downgrade comes with a $47 price target cut for Nike, indicating a decreased outlook for the company's financial performance in FY27.
