JPMorgan Dumps Prediction-Market Platform Over Regulatory Concerns
JPMorgan Chase severed its banking ties with prediction-market platform Polymarket in October 2025 due to regulatory concerns, according to a report from the Financial Times.
The bank instructed Polymarket to find an alternative lender, which it has done since then.
This move comes after Polymarket was fined $1.4 million by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission in 2022 for operating an unregistered derivatives platform.
Despite ending its banking relationship with JPMorgan, Polymarket continues to maintain operational ties and potential capital-markets business with the bank.
