JPMorgan Ends Banking Ties with Prediction Market Operator Amid Regulatory Scrutiny
JPMorgan Chase reportedly cut ties with prediction market operator Polymarket last October amid regulatory scrutiny.
The move came just weeks before the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) issued an amended order of designation allowing Polymarket to operate in the US.
Although JPMorgan ended its banking relationship with Polymarket, the two companies still have a connection and may be exploring a role for the bank in Polymarket's potential initial public offering (IPO).
